The Old Forge Collection is one of my favorite designs. My father John Gift originally came up with this look three years ago. Since then popularity has grown. Pound for pound you will not find better lifetime lighting made and I do mean pound for pound. The Item #2171 weighs in over 12 Lbs Each!!
Steel Partners Inc Iron forge lighting products are hand-forged in Washington State, by true Craftsman who care about the end result. Each piece consists of many pieces of Steel, that is ” hammered” by hand then welded, finished with your choice of hand applied or powder coated finishes. From there each piece is inspected, then moves on to hand fit the mica or acrylic lens.
Estimated labor in just one of our San Carlos hanging sconce is more than 8 hours. The finished product is a work of art, celebrating the time when there wasn’t automated machines to create beautiful lighting. This Fire forged look is one of our personal favorites. We have supplied ranches in the west hill country of Texas to vineyards and wine cellars on the west coast; many find that this is the look they are looking for.
